Blackadder is a committed, family run care group with multiple residential care homes across the country. There are currently six Blackadder residential homes – Field House, Evendine, Kirby Grange, Holmer Manor, Northleach Court and Park House.
All of the homes offer outstanding superlative care and services for a variety of needs.
The project
Blackadder approached AlphaQuad with a need to create a whole new brand, design four new websites, and provide ongoing website optimisation and digital marketing services for all the Blackadder Group care homes.
Our creative team worked closely with the client to establish the desired identity for the new branding. The brand itself needed to evoke a friendly, supportive, caring feel, as well as being clean, modern and professional. It also has to adapt well, as it needed to be applied to multiple care homes whilst still giving each home a unique identity.
The fully responsive websites would fit into the style of the new branding, with an aspirational, credible and professional feel. We created a clear and concise user journey throughout the sites, whilst introducing additional functions and rich content that were previously unavailable to their visitors. We ensured that the sites were user friendly, accessible and engaging, with clear and concise calls to action. The clear aim for the project was to drive higher traffic volume to the websites and increase the overall number of website conversions.
The results
Since the launch of the new Blackadder brand and the individual residential home websites, AlphaQuad have continued working with the client to provide a full marketing service for each one. This includes ongoing website optimisation, SEO and link building, paid advertising campaigns and producing offline marketing materials.
The Blackadder Group has seen a significant rise in both the overall traffic to the site and number of returning visitors, as well as the amount of page views received comparing year on year. For example, for the Field House Care Home website alone, there has been:
- 183.5% increase in website traffic
- 733% increase in conversions
- 32% increase in organic traffic
- 87.5% increase in direct traffic (demonstrating an big improvement in brand awareness)
- 400% increase in domain authority
