Operation Christmas Child
This Christmas, AlphaQuad is proud to support Operation Christmas Child, a global initiative dedicated to spreading joy and hope to children in need. Our shoeboxes will join thousands of others in bringing smiles to children in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia, and Romania as part of the 2024 appeal.
What is Operation Christmas Child?
Organised annually by Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child is a global project that delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children facing hardship. These shoeboxes go far beyond material gifts; they bring messages of love and kindness to children facing enormous challenges, whether from poverty, displacement, or conflict. For many recipients, the arrival of a shoebox marks a moment of joy and reassurance – showing that someone, somewhere, is thinking of them.
Why We Chose to Participate
This year, we’ve been inspired by the idea that small acts of kindness can make a huge difference. The countries these shoeboxes are destined for face significant challenges, and while a box of gifts may seem simple, it carries with it the power to bring happiness and hope to a child who may feel overlooked.
We delivered the boxes with the help of some of the AlphaQuad team’s children who were excited to contribute to such a meaningful cause. Participating in this appeal is a chance to connect with children and communities far beyond ours and to show solidarity in a way that’s personal, meaningful, and deeply rewarding.
How You Can Get Involved
Operation Christmas Child relies on the generosity of individuals, families, and organisations. If you’re interested in taking part, there are several ways to get involved:
- Pack a shoebox with gifts that are suitable for a specific gender and age group.
- Make a donation to help cover shipping costs, or sponsor a box online.
- Volunteer locally to help with collecting, sorting, or distributing the shoeboxes.
Bringing Joy This Christmas
Operation Christmas Child reminds us of the true spirit of the season – sharing joy, spreading kindness, and making sure no one feels forgotten. Whether you pack a shoebox, donate, or help spread the word, you can be part of a movement that touches lives around the world.

This Christmas, let’s all do something small that adds up to something extraordinary.
